The venerable Vang Comp Dome Head Safety switch. These are turned from a solid piece of USA steel bar stock. This must-have safety upgrade works perfectly if you shoot with gloves or just need a safety switch that you can toggle without having to take your eyes off of the action.
Finished in matte black Nitridox for corrosion and abrasion resistance this Dome Head Safety is a great match for factory parkerize and blue finishes.
**Caution! Do not use with recoil mitigating stocks such as the “KNOXX” style. Doing so can damage your firearm.**

For use with Remington Models 870, 1100, 11-87 and their clones in 12 Gauge and 20 Gauge
Also fits Remington pump-action rifles.
Will NOT work on the Tac-13/V-3 models

It reminds me of the memory bump on some 1911 grip safeties. I didn’t understand the need until I tried it.
Works well, easy install, well made, only wish it had a red line such as the factory original.

Note: Prior to installation, I painted a red band using a toothpick, Fluorescent modelling paint, magnifying goggles, & a modicum of patience. Looks Great, IMHO! Hope that doesn’t void the warranty.
